Ruth buys the wine and writes the list, which is why it is short and why there is a Loire cremant on it instead of champagne. Corkage is £20 a bottle on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if you want to bring something special.

By the carafe

Any wine listed by the glass is available as a 500ml carafe at twice the 175ml price, less a pound. It is the sensible order for two people at lunch.
